How To Prep Inserts and Liners

Prepping Time! Here's our Insert Prep Guide:

5 Layer Bamboo/Hemp/Cotton Inserts:

  • These inserts are ultra premium which means they require the premium wash and preparation treatment. Hemp takes in-between 12-15 washes to fully 'prep' and reach maximum absorbency. We recommend throwing these in the wash with your regular diaper wash routine, and using them right away. They won't be fully prepped after one wash, but as the inserts get more uses and washes, they will start to 'prep' more and more until they have reached maximum absorbency and be fully prepared for all your little ones "little messes".

6 Layer Bamboo Terry Inserts:

  • Bamboo Terry is one of the quickest absorbing type of inserts currently available. These inserts are flexible, absorbent, and soft. These take in-between 8-10 washes to fully 'prep' and reach maximum absorbency. These inserts can be prepped by throwing them in your regular diaper wash routine, and using them right away. They won't be fully prepped after one wash, but as the inserts get more uses and washes, they will start to 'prep' more and more until they have reached maximum absorbency and be fully prepared for all your little ones "little messes".

AWJ Liners - 2 Layers:

  • AWJ (Athletic Wicking Jersey) Liners are created with the intention to allow liquids to pass through the AWJ, while solids stay on top; allowing for additional ease when rinsing. Since the AWJ Liners aren't meant to absorb, prepping is simple and takes only 1 wash to fully 'prep'. We recommend washing these with your regular diaper routine, and using them right away.
